May 7: @EsterDean is one sexy black woman. Better yet she is one sexy woman. Period.
So, five minutes later when I see there's a notification on the WWP twitter account, I assume it was one of our lovelies favoriting a tweet or maybe we got a new follower. I didn't know that the fabulous Ester Dean was going Tyler Oakley on the world, trolling for people saying fabulous things about her.

My reaction to Ester Dean favoriting my tweet;
#Yassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
She gave me this blank stare. She had no idea who that was and she was only a few years older then myself and I am the baby of the We Wear Pink family. In that moment I realized people didn't know who Ester Dean was. That is why I am here to set the record straight.
As a multifaceted singer, songwriter, actor Ester Dean is one of the fiercest women on the planet. I put her on the same pedestal as Beyoncé. And, even though she doesn't wow me, I'm not dissapointed like “Who the f**k are you?” Many of our other social pyriahas I need to go away when I compare them to Queen Yonce. Think Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Lorde. Although, they may have some discernible talent by themselves in comparision to Grammy, Academy Award nominee Beyoncé they might as well jump out a window now.

Now Ester Dean has been on the outskirts of relevancy for a long time. Writing music for some of the biggest names in music including Usher, Chris Brown, Flo Rida, Pussycat Dolls, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and Beyoncé.
Most of her hit singles have come when Rihanna performed them “Rude Boy”, “S&M”, “Where Have You Been”, and “You Da One”. And, the more ironic “What's My Name?” Until Pitch Perfect there's little belief that anyone knew her name, despite voice rolls in Rio, The Lorax, and Ice Age.

Now, I said a lot of her hit songs came from when Rihanna sang, but that doesn't mean she hasn't had some bangers with other singers. She did “Super Bass”, “Firework”, and “Turn Me On” to name a few.

Since, early 2013 Ester Dean has reportedly been done with her album tentatively titled Story Never Told. Why it hasn't been released, I don't know. She might be waiting for when Pitch Perfect 2 wraps up to release it so, when she's on Jimmy Kimmel she can be all “Yeah, so the movie's great. But, my album. It's basically perfect and all you bitches should buy it.”
This bitch for one will be buying it. In the meantime I suppose we'll just have to settle for “Get My Dough”.
