...it's their anniversary. If you're here then there is no way you don't know about one of the most iconic adolescent movies since Clueless. In the past 10 years teens have continued to watch Tina Fey's brain child. This What's Up Wednesday is dedicated to Mean Girls and all the lessons it taught me. PS.-Tina Fey got the idea of this story from Rosalind Wiseman's book "Queen Bees and Wannabes". a self-help book that studied the dynamics of females. P.P.S.- Points to whoever caught the title's musical reference. You Go Glenn Coco!
They are young, have nice hair, and make fun music. That is all it took for this band to catch my interest and make it as this week's Media Monday. So lets not waste a second more. It's a Monday and we can all use a little happy in our day. Click that Media Monday and let the happiness consume you.
I'll let my pictures do the talking so let your fingers do the walking over to Snapshot Saturday. (I know I'm cheesy/corny-sue me...or not. Actually please don't. I'm two seasons deep into this Saturday's topic and a lawsuit would probably mean I'd have to go to court and not binge watch this show) Just read this weeks post and disregard the ramblings of a stressed out college student procrastinating instead of studying for finals or completing her term paper. -Buttercup
We here at We Wear Pink love television. That is why it was no surprise for Throwback Thursday we picked a classic television show featuring the two lovely ladies above. Easter has just passed us and we have just finished running away from the children who were too hopped up on sugar. They were eating low quality Hershey bars, because no one has the money to spend buying quality merchandise. Which, is why here at We Wear Pink we are here to broaden your horizon on the candy making process. Put on the TV to your favorite soap opera and get out your whisk. If you need to go out to get the ingredients stop by Best Buy and pick yourself up a copy of Mama Kelis's new album "Food" or if the children aren't home grab a copy of Iggy Azalea's "The New Classic" and let's get fancy.

Recently some statements were made by me in regards to my relationship. So, here on What's Up Wednesday I am here to set the record straight on how I feel about my boyfriend. For some reason he was upset when I called him ugly in one of my first blog posts. I stand here today to corroborate that statement and say I was right. I'm not sure if what we have is love, but it is something. And, I'm perfectly happy with it.
Why is this beautiful face assaulting your peasant eyeballs you ask? Not why darlings, but rather Who. Betty Who. In the age of retro pop - Ariana Grande aka Mariah-lite - Ms. Who is handing me life with her smooth and clear voice and 80s infused dancey beats. I need all of the current and future pop princesses to break out their handy dandy notebooks and a jumbo crayon because class is in session and Ms. Jessica Anne Newham is prepared to present.
The legendary Miss Britney Spears has been a social icon since her start and has remained relevant since then, just recently releasing her second self titled set "Britney Jean". That however is not what We Wear Pink plans on focusing on for Snapshot Saturday. We are looking at her stylistic look all the way from the start of ...Baby One More Time until her public meltdown with Blackout. If all we've had were these photographs, it would be scary to imagine what the sound behind it was.
When you look back on being a 90s baby you see that a lot of your favorite shows started in the early 2000s and the ones from the 90s you watched were already in reruns. You also realize that they didn't even last that long but were a huge part of your childhood. I was looking through the disappointing roster of current shows that kids watch now and I still think 90s babies had it made. In my research, aka Wikipedia stalking, I found an often forgotten gem. Click that link to Throwback Thursday if you want to find out what's the sitch... Comment if you remember her!
